Renee Delosh is a young artist currently living and making in Brooklyn. Her work is based around reinterpreting everyday experiences, relationships and imagery. Taking the form of drawings, paintings, sculpture, and video, her work takes these moments as opportunities to self-reflect and confess, creating pieces that are objects but also evidence of an event. Themes of guilt, anxiety and the urge to make amends are reoccurring; they are balanced by honesty, acceptance and most crucial of all, a sense of humor. She is interested in visual puns, word play and other silly things.
a project blog, illustrating the ideas and process behind the placement of small crystal-like sculptures around the Morgan Avenue L train stop in Brooklyn, NY.
